Advising

In an effort to limit exposure and keep everyone safe we will be holding virtual appointments through Zoom. To schedule an appointment, please go to https://student.msu.edu/.  You will choose “College of Social Science Advising.” Next, click on the magnifying glass to select either “Child Development” or “Human Development & Family Stu.” Finally, under “Appointment Type” you will select “Zoom.” Appointments in this system can be made between 1-14 days in advance  If you don’t see a time that works for you, please check back.  Thank you for your patience during this time!

Please note that email is the best way to communicate with advisors. When you do leave a message please make sure to clearly express your question, your first and last name, and the best way to get in touch with you. Finally, please allow 48-72 business hours for a response.

Override Request

Override Requests must come from a MSU email address (no gmail, etc.). Incomplete forms will not be processed and will be deleted. Please give us 72 business hours to respond to your request. Requests for overrides into CEP 240 should be sent directly to an HDFS advisor at: hdfsadv@msu.edu.
